HISD's Hornet Watch empowers students, staff, parents and community members to help themselves and others by using our anonymous online system to report safety issues quickly to school officials. Our number one priority is the safety and security of our students and staff and we strive to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
Hornet Watch allows users to report past, present and predicted concerns within our school community. Information about bullying, cyber bullying, harassment, drugs, violence, weapons, theft or any other potential threat to school safety should be reported. All messages submitted remain completely anonymous. False reporting will be taken seriously to the full extent of the law.
The Hornet Watch system will be monitored weekdays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. during the school year. Any reports submitted outside of these hours during holidays will be responded to during the following normally scheduled school day.
