Hello! My name is John Baugus. I'm beginning my seventh year of teaching, and my first year here at Hooks. I graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 2014 before obtaining my bachelor's degree in History from Texas A&M.

For the 2025-2026 school year, I will be teaching US History and Government/Economics. I am really excited to see students grow in their knowledge, and excel both in and outside of the classroom.
