Hello!

My name is Denise Saegert soon to be Mrs. Fenske in October, and I am currently in my fourth year of teaching, with a total of six years of experience at Hooks Elementary School. I earned my bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University-Texarkana in 2021. Throughout my career, I have exclusively taught Pre-K, and I am proud to say that Hooks has been my home since I embarked on this journey. This truly is a wonderful place to work, and I cherish the opportunity to be a part of my students’ lives. One of my favorite aspects of teaching is witnessing their growth as they navigate their educational journey. I absolutely love it when former students come back to visit!
