Hello! My name is Luke McGuire. I'm beginning my third year of teaching, and my first year here at Hooks. I graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 2012 before obtaining my bachelor's degree in Political Science and Master’s degree in Social Science at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. 

For the 2023-2024 school year, I will be teaching US History, as well as World History Honors. I will also be teaching a leadership class and be involved with student council activities. I am really excited to see students grow in their knowledge, and excel both in and outside of the classroom.
