Welcome to Our Next Chapter!

Hello! I'm Mrs. McBroom, and I am excited to welcome you to 5th Grade Reading and Language Arts.

I believe every student has a story worth telling and a future worth pursuing. In our classroom, we will read inspiring texts, think critically, write with purpose, and grow as learners and leaders. Together, we'll celebrate successes, learn from challenges, and discover the power of our voices through reading and writing.

My goal is to create a classroom where students feel supported, encouraged, and challenged to become confident readers, thoughtful writers, and lifelong learners. Whether we're exploring a novel, analyzing a text, or sharing our own stories, each day is an opportunity to turn the page and begin a new adventure.

As we begin this school year, remember:

Every book has chapters. Every journey has milestones. Every student has a story.
