I am one of the agriculture science teachers at Hooks High School. Currently, I teach Principles of AFNR, Livestock Production, Equine Science, Small Animal Production, Wildlife and Fisheries Management, and Advance Energy and Natural Resources.
As an FFA Advisor, I coach the Wildlife, Meats, Land, Forage Evaluation, Sustainable Agriculture, and Forestry CDE Teams as well as the Job Interview and FFA Quiz.
I work directly with students wising to earn advanced Degrees (Lone Star and American), apply for Star and Proficiency Awards, and apply for college scholarships through FFA as well as outside sources.
Lastly, I serve as co-advisor for the Beef Heifer Show Team as well as market animals, including swine, goats, rabbits, and broilers.
